The Stranded Gas Initiative actively seeks partnerships to enhance the capture and utilization of stranded and flared natural gas in Canada, particularly in Alberta. We are especially interested in projects that can generate high-quality, verifiable carbon credits through effective flare reduction and methane mitigation.
We aim to collaborate with technology providers in power generation, gas-to-compute, and gas processing, as well as energy companies with stranded assets, natural gas infrastructure, and RNG developers. We also welcome innovators in micro-refineries and hybrid crypto/energy solutions, carbon credit buyers including large emitters and regulated facilities, investors focused on clean energy transition like private equity and venture capital firms, and brownfield redevelopment companies repurposing idle wellsites for power, data centers, or processing.
